Terms of Service
Last updated 2 September 2026
These terms govern your use of Taiyra. They are written to be readable rather than impressive. By creating an account, you agree to them.
1. What Taiyra is
Taiyra is a mobile application for planning a wedding — tracking guests, gifts, vendors, tasks, menus and budget. It is a record-keeping tool. It does not process payments, hold money, or transact on your behalf. Where the app records a vendor payment or a gift amount, it is recording something that happened elsewhere.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or older to create an account.
- Give accurate information, and keep your sign-in credentials to yourself.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account, including who you invite into your workspace and what role you give them.
- One person, one account. Do not share logins.
3. Your data belongs to you
Everything you enter — guests, gift records, vendors, budgets — is yours. We claim no ownership of it. We store and process it only to run the service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can delete it at any time.
4. Shared workspaces
Taiyra is built for families to use together. When you invite someone into a workspace, you are granting them access to that workspace's data at the level their role allows. Choose roles deliberately. The workspace Owner controls membership and can change or remove roles at any time.
If you are the Owner of a workspace that other people are using, you cannot delete your account until you transfer ownership — otherwise their wedding data would be destroyed along with yours.
5. What you may not do
- Use Taiyra for anything unlawful.
- Upload other people's personal information without a legitimate reason to hold it. Your guest list is your responsibility.
- Attempt to access another family's workspace, probe our infrastructure, or circumvent role-based access controls.
- Resell, rent out, or redistribute the service.
- Reverse-engineer the app except where the law expressly permits it.
6. Price
Taiyra is free at launch, with no feature limits. If we ever introduce paid features, we will say so clearly in advance, and anything you have already recorded will remain accessible to you.
7. Availability
We work hard to keep Taiyra running, particularly during ceremonies, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service. Time-critical features are designed to keep working when the network does not, and to sync once it returns.
Keep your own records of anything critical. Taiyra is a planning assistant, not a legal or financial system of record.
8. Liability
Taiyra is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app — including any decision made on the basis of data shown in it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death, personal injury, or fraud.
9. Ending things
You may stop using Taiyra and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or that we are legally required to close — we will tell you why, unless the law prevents us.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect, and the date at the top of this page will change. Continuing to use Taiyraafter that means you accept the new terms.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Gujarat have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
