Delete your Taiyra account

You can delete your account and its data at any time. No form to argue with, no waiting for someone to approve it.

From inside the app Fastest

  1. Open Taiyra and tap the account icon in the top bar.
  2. Scroll to Delete Account.
  3. Type DELETE to confirm.

Deletion happens immediately. You are signed out and the account cannot be recovered.

By email

If you have already uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, emailtaiyra.app@gmail.comfrom the address you signed up with, asking us to delete your account.

We verify the request comes from your registered address, then delete within 7 days and confirm by email.

What gets deleted

  • Your account and sign-in credentials
  • Your name, email address and profile
  • Any wedding workspace where you are the only member — including its guests, vendors, tasks, budget, menus and pahermani records
  • Your membership of workspaces shared with other family members
  • Your saved devices and consent records
  • The encryption keys held on your phone

Residual copies inside encrypted backups are purged within 30 days.

What does not get deleted, and why

If you own a workspace other people are still using

Deleting your account would take their entire wedding with it — their guest list, their vendors, their budget. So Taiyra will stop and ask you to transfer ownership to another family member first. Once you do, deletion proceeds normally.

Your family's Vyavahar Khata

The gift ledger belongs to the family, not to one wedding or one person — it records reciprocal obligations built up across decades and multiple weddings. If your relatives still use their workspace, that shared history stays with them. It is unlinked from your account and your name is removed from it, but the ledger itself is not destroyed. If you are the last member of your family using Taiyra, it goes too.
